How Bollywood biggies inspired by Akshay kumar movies

1.PK is almost similar to OMG

PK movie is the highest grossing movie in Indian cinema with 792 crores box office collection in worldwide and 489 crore gross in india. PK and OMG both the movies take hard-hitting swipes at organised religion. In both movies there is arguments that is related to God, Godmen and Godliness.

"Contrary to this above given statement, another source (as quoted in DNA) says, “OMG was still being shot then. Aamir, Rajkumar and Vidhu offered Rs 8 crore to Umesh to stop shooting the film!”

I liked OMG better than PK.  My views answer covers most of the reasons. Other than that, I found OMG to be better than PK on the following counts:

1. Paresh Rawal's sardonic comments, replies and and questions weren't very subtle, but the sarcasm and satire drove home the point well. Amir Khan tried to do the same but I felt his portrayal of an alien asking deep questions innocently seemed a tad too slapstick.

2. PK had some pretty unrequired songs.

3. They just couldn't move beyond the cliche that bollywood movies require a love story regardless of the theme of the movie(wrt PK).

4. The last scenes in OMG are excellent. The court room drama keeps you on tenterhooks. On the other hand, PK's TV show war of words was pretty cheesy.

5. PK's second half is pretty boring TBH and loses focus mid way.

6. PK is a long movie and as I've already mentioned, seems to lose focus mid-way. OMG, on the other hand, is short, crisp and at times subtle.

7. The way they've portrayed PK, you grow to like the alien and want him to get his transmitter or whatever and get back home. But that's the problem! Personally, I just wanted him to get back home so that I could get back home too! But in OMG, after an initial feeling of hate towards Paresh Rawal, you end up liking his character. In fact, I could almost associate with the common man he has portrayed. He ends up emerging as a champion of the public.

PK is, without a doubt, a good movie, but it loses out in the following areas:
1. Music(unnecessary)
2. Time(too long)
3. Humour(too repetitive)

Hence, I prefer OMG.

Another reason, although personal, is that I watched OMG without any expectationss and ended up enjoying the movie, whereas PK had a lot of hype surrounding it, due to which I expected a lot. But then again, to each his own.

but there is different in both these films despite thematically both is same, first thing is plots of both movies, second one is the character in the movies, the ways of telling after all same things but different manners.

2.SULTAN second half is same as BROTHER

Another bollywood movie starring by Salman khan, Anushka sharma become almost third highest grossers of all time behind PK and Bajrangibhaijan is similar to akshay kumar's Brothers. Both movies involving the mixed martial arts.while in Brothers movie MMA fighting is main subject of movie where as in sultan first half is about the wrestling while second half is about the MMA fights.
